For children
- If you feel unsafe, tell a trusted adult now.
- If one adult does not help, tell another adult.
- Call 911 with an adult when there is immediate danger.
For preteens
- Call or text 988 for a suicide, mental-health, or substance-use crisis.
- Call 911 for immediate danger or a medical emergency.
- Stay with a safe adult while help is arranged when possible.
For teens and adults
- The 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline offers call, text, and chat support in English and Spanish.
- Veterans can call 988 and press 1 or text 838255 for the Veterans Crisis Line.
- Call 911 when there is immediate danger or an emergency response is needed.
